Jovana and Baldomero grew up together
in a middle-class neighborhood and always thought they were made for one another. Jovana’s mother however, pushes Jovana
towards the wealthy Demian in her own attempt to improve her family’s social status. Jovana knows that money does not
create happiness, as her best friend Marina is showered with expensive gifts from her mother, a famous actress, and her father,
a dishonest businessman when in reality, Marina only longs for attention and love. Love triangles, misunderstandings, a nervous
breakdown and financial problems, are just some of the issues these young adults must face as they grow up and learn about
life.
