The high school teacher Francisco
Romero is the main character of Clase 406. Francisco will witness heartrending events in the lives of these young people:
domestic violence, gang rivalries, pregnancy, substance addiction, school desertion, poverty, prostitution and crime. He will
realize that he cannot remain on the sidelines as a mere spectator. In addition to being their teacher, his caring nature
impels him to assume the roles of counselor, doctor, psychologist, protector and, at times, even detective. The school itself
is center stage in "Class 406", the realistic chronicle of a group of young kids who, like so many others, live their adolescent
years with zest and abandon, with joy and fear. They study, have fun and, in the company of good friends and bad influences,
learn the difference between dreaming and working to realize a dream, between demanding attention and earning respect, between
promising and committing, between desiring and loving, between being a teenager and being an adult.
